@Tigerkitty: The watermark was just one reason. Even without it, the posts should have been removed for quality reasons.
@Tigerkitty: The watermark was just one reason. Even without it, the posts should have been removed for quality reasons.
@Ratte: excuse me if I'm being impatient, but I think I have reason to be. It seems impartial to me since there are other uploads on the site with the same problems. What is the problem with the watermark from the app used to make the image?
here's a remarkable website where your uploads will not be removed based on quality standards
https://inkbunny.net/
https://www.sofurry.com/
https://www.weasyl.com/
here are some stunning alternatives
@Tigerkitty: C'mon dude, don't poke the bear a stick when you bombard just one Admin like that.
@Tigerkitty: I do things besides babysitting the blips. It isn't power abuse when the images shouldn't have been approved in the first place and I do hold authority over our janitors.
@Ratte: you could at least say something back. I spent hours on each of those. If it's that easy to just ruin someone getting used to this site then I regret ever joining it
@Ratte: is this how you encourage artists? By taking down everything they made for having a civil conversation to clarify something. I already had them approved by other admins, whether you're in the right here or not, you abuse your control
@Ratte: then why was it removed if it isn't an issue?
@Tigerkitty: It isn't.
@Ratte: may I ask why this is an issue for this upload and not others?
@Tigerkitty: No.
@TheHuskyK9: that's all they will have to rely on to make this game go, everything else looks like a disaster (pun?)
@TheTundraTerror:
"Let's act out my Sonic fanfiction! I'll pick something family-friendly...oh not that one...OHH definitely not that one..."
And that is why I love that show
@Ratte: you removed my upload for quality issues and a 3rd party watermark. This hasn't been an issue before. the watermark is from the application I used to make it. I request you let me keep it up as I put a lot of effort into this one in particular.
@Chameloshi: Sonic Forces: Rise of the Potato.

You just gotta love
peeps sometimes, ya know? ╹ ‿╹)
So how do I move pages of pools around?
My brother tried to talk me into downloading an unlicensed Pokemon phone game called Pocket Mobile.
I'm not going to.
@kamimatsu: I wonder. Is it attractive to look androgynous? Not that I'm focused enough on people's looks to know how androgynous looks like.
I feel powerful in, Tom Clancy's The Division. Just achieved multiple high-end weapons and exotic weapons/gear. And no enemy can kill me.
I just bought this game a year ago and I feel like I'm moving up. Haha
@Doomguy666: Well, someday. Heh!
@W0LFB3AT5:yeah I live in Lakewood I don't think anything mysterious happens here unless I'm completely oblivious. I've never been to Colorado springs before.
@Doomguy666: we should hang. Since you live somewhere in Colorado too. Lol A LOOOOOT of mysterious phenomena here in the Springs.
(Or am I mistaken for someone else?)

Disgaea 5 Complete demo for Nintendo Switch is out. 999 MBLooks like it has three save slots.
Oh, 99 save slots. :3
@W0LFB3AT5: so mysterious rumbling noises and now military police sounds exciting over there.
@TheHuskyK9: I won't get the game if it won't let me make my Sonic OC Chameloshi the Potato.
Only the almighty potato has the power to save the universe, and I'll be damned if Tails says it's scientifically impossible.
It's happening.

So...
3 military policemen showed up at my work, came by and asked me where to find the manager in charge...
Apparently they were looking for someone who they need to have a serious talk with. Dunno what dafuq happened but none of my business...
@Dudeman147: But I already have APB Reloaded.
@TheHuskyK9: As if anyone's going to buy that game.. except for the children and the big sonic fandom community in DeviantArt..

@kamimatsu: Let me see if I got this straight. You used Alexander because people tended to mistakenly adress you as a girl?
Yes.
@NotMeNotYou: I have approximate knowledge of many things.
The only things I really know are photography things, if I stray too far from them, my knowledge becomes wrong.
@zenitix: On the other hand, if you photograph fine hairs that hair is actually made up of many, many slightly differently colored pixels which creates the "noise" jpg is optimized to handle. PNG just chokes to death on that.
@zenitix: You're right in that case because for photography jpg is the best choice by far. But obviously on here most things are digitally created in which case PNG is superior because jpg just destroys small details, like brush strokes or fine hairs.
Are blips like "statuses"?
If yes then, I ate some Oreos today
@NotMeNotYou: I'll fold and say for anything that we would see on this site, png is better.
But I'm still am going to use jpeg for photography, because tiff files are too large, and png have artifacting if you use sharpening software.
TheHuskyK9 said:
In Sonic Forces, you can have your own custom character in the story. You guys
So it's deviantart all over again. Fucking hell.
@zenitix: jpg is optimized for random noise, not for structured ones. Reds are very rare in real life and thus are stronger compressed with only half the byte size allocated to them.
Don't use jpg for art, use lossless instead.

@Stiban: Opinions cost money, that will be two cents if you need one
No. If I were to be honest I don't see anything wrong with your avatar my dude.
@kamimatsu: Let me see if I got this straight. You used Alexander because people tended to mistakenly adress you as a girl?
@zenitix: Textures in general are not the same as photographic noise, and do not "play well" with the lossy compression of jpegs. It will just end up looking like a discolored mess, especially with warmer colors.
@Ratte: You could at least try to give me a reason why I'm wrong, like say "no, because blank."
@zenitix: Maybe it's because it's the only word that needs to be said.
@Ratte: Sometimes it feels like that's the only word you know.
@zenitix: Nnnno.
@Mario69: Also, he's clearly not a photographer, cause windows 10 natively supports RAW formats, so the codecs have been outmoded, which has made sorting RAWs much easier since they now generate thumbnails which they didn't before.
@Mario69: jpeg is a bit better though if your digital are has a brushstroke or texture on it; you should always take your style of art into account rather then arbitrarily picking one because "it's stats are the best."
@Sorrowless: The short version was androgynous, and so was how I looked to a lot of people. Using Alexander solved that. I have a beard now, so I can use Alex and it's usually obvious that it's short for Alexander.
@kamimatsu: Now I'm not sure what you're talking about.
@Sorrowless: That would have worked, but I was 4, so I never thought of it. I don't care now because it was just to clear up what it was short for and now I can just grow a beard if I have to do that.
How Long Will the Curiosity Rover Last?
Hoping a few more years. :3

@Sorrowless: That's spooky. I did that as a little kid. Same name too.
Interesting. Here's an example that should end the confusion:
"Hi, my name is Alex but you may call me Alexander"
@Sorrowless: That's what I meant this time, goodness we turned a simple question into a full conversation of misunderstandings.
@Sorrowless: That's spooky. I did that as a little kid. Same name too.
Doomguy666 said:
@Sorrowless: oh I think I get it now. No I don't believe I've ever encountered someone that insisted they be referred to by their full name.
Not full name. Long version of their name.
@Sorrowless: if I get a PhD, I will do both at once. "Mr. NAME is my father. Call me Dr. NAME."
@Sorrowless: oh I think I get it now. No I don't believe I've ever encountered someone that insisted they be referred to by their full name.
@Doomguy666: I think we still haven't gotten to the bottom of this. It is common to call people or themselves by the short version of their name. But the short version isn't their real name. How often do we see the opposite?
@Sorrowless: ah that's what I thought. As I said I usually don't care either way but in that one instance being referred to by my full name felt like a sign of respect, or something like that.
Now I'm confused how am I not answering satisfactorily?
@Sorrowless: Mink's species is probably squid, I meant like nobody knows what the TF2 Pyro is. Mink checked and just said "huh", and the author has stated Mink considers it a non-issue, but wrote "squiggly" after fans demanded an answer.
I though I had made the original question better than that. Sorry about the confusion.

@Sorrowless: do you mean first, middle, and last? That'd be idiotic.
Say your name was Alex but everyone called you Alexander.
@Sorrowless: do you mean first, middle, and last? That'd be idiotic.
@Doomguy666: You missed my point. What if your "full name" was the name people called you.
Image File Formats - JPEG, GIF, PNG - Techquickie
please use png for gods sake

@Sorrowless: I don't care either way, however my fencing instructor would refer to me by my full name which I liked for some reason.
