@Doomguy666: I think we still haven't gotten to the bottom of this. It is common to call people or themselves by the short version of their name. But the short version isn't their real name. How often do we see the opposite?

@Sorrowless: oh I think I get it now. No I don't believe I've ever encountered someone that insisted they be referred to by their full name.

@Sorrowless: if I get a PhD, I will do both at once. "Mr. NAME is my father. Call me Dr. NAME."
