What do you have against the French?
Don't be a bigot. They didn't choose to be born French.

Being a big ol' frying pan, I obviously have an appreciation for fine cookware

The French are world renowned for gastronomy, and respected in the venerable art of blacksmithing and manufacture of some of the best pans in the world

Does this mean I am demi-French by association?

Just drove by today and saw a Toyota Tundra that had a makeshift trailer on its back with a wooden exterior wrapped in duct tape and a gahdamn house door in the rear.

A fucking…house door…

Also, be glad that was not a 2022+ Tundra, as the engine would have been on the verge of esploding ...

So! Deltarune is now on my blacklist. Not because I hate it but because I don't want to see anything from it due to me not wanting to bother replaying the first two chapters a fourth and third time respectively and NOT be done with the game. Heeeeeell no. I'm gonna happily wait until CH7 comes out and THEN be done with it.

technically the latin words ''trans'' and ''cis'' (meaning across/beyond and on/near respectively) were already kind of pseudo-antonymous to begin with. they both more used in refrence to geography to start, though.

the earliest useage of "cis" in reference to sex/gender in a published work was in Germany, way back near the start of WW1 (1914). the same usage didn't enter english until 80 years later, though.

Yeah I should specify that I was referring to the bit about it being an antonym. Sorry about that

e621 designing it's tagging rules so that you have to tag what you see* is indeed interesting

Just drove by today and saw a Toyota Tundra that had a makeshift trailer on its back with a wooden exterior wrapped in duct tape and a gahdamn house door in the rear.

A fucking…house door…

That truck ain’t running on gas. If anything, that thing is running on hopes and dreams!

When in Colorado, I suppose…

looking at posts that say "good boy"/"good girl"/etc. to the PoV and angrily commenting "THEY WOULDN'T SAY THAT!"

it's honestly so frustrating that we spent over half a decade discussing and arguing about these tags' names specifically in an effort to get them to a state where they'd be as neutral as possible while still being coherent, and yet we still have people saying that all the intersex tags are slurs.

we put _way_ more fucking effort than every other booru out there on this front and we still will occasionally get shit for it.

like, what would they even prefer? do they genuinely think that "dickgirl" and "cuntboy" would be better, or something?

E621 designing its tagging rules so that you are forced to use 5 million different slurs whenever uploading an image of a trans or intersex character:

I couldn't disagree more.

"Herm" is straight up just the established term for species and beings that produce both sperm and eggs, and "male herm" being one with a masculine build is a reasonable enough extrapolation. There are legitimate non-slur uses for this word.
"Andromorph" and "gynomorph" are a little less common but established nevertheless, and the most literal meanings boil down to "a man's form" and "a woman's form". Again, legitimate non-slur uses.
The previous tags were also straight up just porn terms.

Being eager to let bigots dictate this language is a losing play. They pretend "cis" is a slur but it has been an antonym for "trans" for a century. If they had their way, nobody would be talking about trans or intersex people period.

I'm getting pretty good with my airbrush, I can finish these a lot faster now than the first one I painted. Which is good because I have so many to get through.

Hopefully the leaky fridge/freezer issue is stable til Monday. Good thing there was a valve for the water/ice after all.

Sick and tired of these fucking royalty advertisement scams.

Distrokid is my only means of conveyance…

Those are still a thing? I thought they kinda died down after all of these Youtube videos exposing them as scams.

Edit: Oh wait, you mean royalty as in the licensing thing, not Established Titles. You even mentioned Distrokid, but somehow that didn't register with me for a second.
