It didn't even take me that long to realize it was the April Fool's gag because µBlock Origin let me "zap" the element revealing the rest of the page that was still scrolling according to the scrollbar I force modern Firefox to draw.

Wondering the same thing. I don't even have a fursona, this seems like a glaringly obvious oversight. But it also lets you just submit a blank canvas, so I guess it doesn't matter in the end.

It's only appearing on mobile for me and I physically cannot draw anything except short little lines. The page scrolls or something when I try to swipe to draw and interrupts it.

dude, I love the Sonic social media team, if anyone knows their audience it's them.

To anyone interested, how much would you agree/disagree that the music that friends and/or family listen to have influenced your music interests? Obviously your music tastes may steer off in a different direction over time, but I'm curious how much or how little things have changed in genre interests. For me personally, there's some amount of influence still there, but most of the music is from my teens and even further back. Some of the music I listen to recently is more old school, or music I come across from YouTube videos/recommendations.

I mean like, character-wise, they might like or befriend each other at the very least. Because, IMO, that's usually really the only metric that defines a ship being "crack" or not by most, and that also applies to canon/non-crossover pairings.

But my point wasn't that "MordeTwi is not Crack", but that it wasn't a Joke Ship to begin with - which I feel like was otherwise the impression from the wiki.

I think that pretty much describes all crossover ships. I can grant you that MordeTwi, the pairing, can be considered a "meme" in a Dawkinsian sense. History really did such an injustice to MordeTwi. The wiki page for the 'morretwi' tag gives a false impression of what the ship was really supposed to be about - and it's no thanks to the popularity of the Airplanes meme and the "Redraw MordeTwi" fad.
If you don't know, MordeTwi didn't become a thing because of the "airplanes in the night sky" drawing, it came way before that; it became a thing when a club/group on DeviantArt had to be made because the ship was getting so much fan-made content, and that was because of a fanfic inadvertently inspiring some people to ship the characters.

MordeTwi is not a "meme ship" or "art portraying the relationship in a melodramatic light" - that's just the Airplanes meme! Rather, it is simply the pairing of Mordecai and Twilight - hence the portmanteau name. And FYI: the "original piece of fan art" was made in 2012, not 2011, and also check its description. "Airplanes" was just a guy trying to contribute to the group.
