@Dripen_Arn: @dba_afish:

Unfortunately Discord has the Live recordings on their set. And they have SHIT TONS of recordings of other players too. Mine is somewhere in that pile. I thought I could’ve at least kept the recordings for myself to see.

Also the tourney is completely unorganized.

-Other players coming in late
-Their lag causing them to be disqualified considering we had to use wired internet and not WiFi
-Lobbies on where to meet are misleading
-Too many disrespectful players T-bagging which is strictly prohibited and shows poor sportsmanship
-The wait time promising 5 minutes to battle when literally it took nearly 30 minutes to find my opponents
-Players disqualified for not attending the match and have to wait ANOTHER 15-30 minutes to find another opponent to take their place…

The WHOLE thing was a clusterfuck. But I still managed to participate and beat a few so…I’m happy about that. 🙂

I’ve never been this fucking nervous in my life… 😖

The tourney starts in an hour! My very first tournament fight!

I’ll try to record the fights for yall to watch on who I’m fighting against.

I remember our old analog TV that had lots of knick knacks over, behind, and beside it. It even has the fancy crochet on it!

Some of the greatest wonders of the modern age that could easily be taken for granted are the weight reduction and the slimmed down form of color TVs (hell, any digital and electrical appliance even). It is easy to carry and install, it also doesn't have the high pitched hum and skin-crackling static!

yes, but now I can't collect all the static off of the screen and direct it at some else's ear when they're not paying attention. so was it really an improvement?

Feature suggestion: a system that instantly teleports a deciliter of swamp water inside the devices of users who keep tagging anthros as humanoids.

@Voltage-controlled: There was something I wanted to recommend to you before I thought you vanished that you might like. Two tracks from a game called Final Vendetta and an older Double Dragon game. One of the tracks for Final Vendetta is jungle, so while it's not drum and bass, that might still be in your interest. You might not like the Double Dragon ones, but at the same time, you haven't seemed to dislike what I suggest before so maybe I'm wrong in my judgement.

...reminds me that uploading youtube videos onto here is a public service & that I should get back onto that grind

And then one day they’ll introduce ads where you can’t mute it and where the ad video follows your screen, even if you scroll down

reloading the page or closing the video a few times will cause the video to play without the ad. rinse and repeat for each ad you encounter, and YouTube becomes more tolerable...

When I eventually reach 42069 tag edits, I will either have to destroy my computer and go outside touch some grass, or smoke rolled up 69 porn to celebrate the occasion and set my next goal to 696969.

Kinda makes me frown a little when the first rating on a post of a trans character is a negative one.

YouTube has started sending notifications to me whenever any of my comments get likes...

what an entirely pointless thing to be notified about. what am I supposed to do with that? it dosn't say who did it or even how my likes the comment has accrewed. it's literally entirely pointless. I could not care less about "someone" adding one like to one comment.

every time I see that little red dot at the top of the screen I think "oh, I wonder what someone said about a comment I made" but for the past week and a half _2/3rds_ of the times I've seen it it's a damn like notification, and for the past 3 days it's the only thing.

and I can't turn it off because the only option is to disable notifs for all comment activity.

Mood.

I’ve been getting nonstop notification likes every minute all because I made this comment

i guess chell and glados did have a kind of relationship throughout the series so it does make sense

yeah, that's apparently the intended reading (in Portal 2, at least). I guess I just never really got that. they never felt like peers, I think the age gap made them feel more like teacher and student than a sort of one-sided romance to me.
...thinking about it that might also kinda be the intention the other pair of female characters with one voiced by Ellen McLain from that other Valve title.

listening in order of Still Alive, Don't Say Goodbye, Want You Gone, You Wouldn't Know, it's pretty clear that they're about someone dealing with the end of a toxic relationship.

they're honestly kinda heartbreaking (if you ignore that the songs are from the perspective of a genocidal robot).
