Species: crayfish
Crayfish are freshwater crustaceans that connect to the family of Astacidea which contain lobsters. Most Crayfish are found in streams and brooks usually around freshwater, however some species can live in swamps. Most crayfish cannot handle pollution in the water however some species of crayfish (ie Procambarus clarkii) can handle such water
Crayfish contain the same body type to the decapoda family, containing 20 body segments separated by 2 sections with each segment containing 2 appendages, some crawfish species these limbs may be reduced or gone. Their walking legs contain small claws on the end.
Lobsters and Crayfish, while closely related to the superfamily Astacidea, are merely members of the same family so separate for the sake of tagging
