Balthasar Gelt was a human wizard and a character from Warhammer Fantasy.

In Warhammer Fantasy, he was once a powerful Gold Wizard (a type of wizard who controlled the power of metal) and the Supreme Patriarch of the Colleges of Magic. During the events of the apocalyptic End Times, he was slain by the vampire Mannfred von Carstein.

In Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, he is reborn as a Stormcast Eternal and now goes by the name of Balthas Arum.
