dragon tree

Dragon trees (genus Dracaena) consist of about 120 species of trees and shrubs native across Africa, southern Asia, and northern Australia, with two species known from Central America. Several of the shrubs are cultivated as ornamental houseplants, although they are toxic to pets. Dracaena sanderiana is commonly marketed as "lucky bamboo" despite only having a superficial resemblance to that plant.
