A species of creature from the card game Magic: The Gathering. Slivers come in 2 general forms, a serpentine form, and a humanoid form. The vast majority of sliver are serpent-like, but there are some that are humanoid. The serpent-like slivers always have at least one arm that ends in a long sharp claw and have a head with a similar shape. In addition, the bodies of these sliver split into multiple tail like tentacles at the base, which allows them to move how they do. The humanoid slivers can be distinguished from other humanoid by the presence of tentacle like appendages on the body. These are most commonly located on the head, resembling hair, but can be located in other places.
