rokushaku fundoshi
A type of fundoshi, consisting of a long (roku shaku, literally "six rule-length") strip of fabric that is wrapped around one’s waist and twisted into a thong between the buttocks, as a close-fitted loincloth without any visible apron (unlike etchu fundoshi).
Comprises the two most common forms of fundoshi alongside etchu fundoshi, this requiring a slightly more involved process to fasten compared to the latter which are more generally suited for casual wear due to its ease.
