Major Friedkin is a female polar bear and a minor character in the popular 2016 Disney movie Zootopia. She is the trainer and instructor of Judy's cadet group at the Zootopia Police Academy.

The Major is only seen in the beginning while Judy Hopps is training to become a police officer. Whenever Judy makes a mistake or can not meet the physical demands required of her, Friedkin relentlessly points out that she's now "dead", just as she would be if out in the field. However, by the end of the sequence, she allows herself a smile at Judy's resilience, determination and noticeable improvement.
