Cory Pereski is a Cactus-Sand Cat Hybrid created by GMPH and owned by Drewanon. He is a fictional character who appears in comic books within the world of Drewanon's other works.

Cory is a shy, nerdy sort of character, who was unwillingly thrust into a sort of superhero role. He stumbled upon Providence, a living pyramid shaped artifact, by accident as a tourist, and upon contact, Cory was bestowed with the Mandate of Providence. Which grants him the ability to manipulate sand, water, and launch needles from the cactus fused with his tail. He also has enhanced strength, can survive on water alone, and gets a boost to his confidence "when he needs it."

All of this comes with a caveat. Providence has commanded Cory to embark on a journey of personal growth in exchange for this power. Naturally, this leads to conflicts in their definitions of what constitutes "personal growth," much to Providence's disappointment and frustration.
