Providence is a simple, pyramid-shaped character created by Drewanon. He is a mentor, begrudging sidekick, familiar and source of supernatural powers to Cory Pereski. Providence has imposed a journey of personal growth upon Cory, and their differing views on what constitutes "personal growth" are a regular source of disappointment and frustration for Providence, who is ultimately trying to prepare Cory for some unknown greater purpose.
