Bede (ビート Beet in Japanese) is a secondary rival character in Pokémon Sword & Shield Versions. He is a human Pokémon trainer who initially specializes in psychic-type Pokémon, but switches to fairy-type Pokémon after getting scouted by Opal to become her successor. This switch corresponds with a change in outfit; his initial outfit is a puffy purple coat, while his outfit as a fairy trainee has pastel pink and blue stripes.
