Ralsei is a deuteragonist of Deltarune. He is the "Prince from the Dark", as foretold by the Prophecy. He appears as a short, black furred Darkner. He wears green glasses, a green wizard's robe, and matching Phrygian cap. He also has a long magenta scarf wrapped around his neck. When taking off his hat, he is revealed to be a caprine with white fur and pink horns, strongly resembling a boss monster. In fact, he is nearly identical to Asriel Dreemurr.

He is kind-hearted, amiable and optimistic. He is also strongly affectionate towards his teammates Kris and Susie. Contrasting Susie, it seems that he dearly hates violence and prefers to solve any conflict he can with pacifism - this trait is exemplified in his role as the team healer. He is also quite excitable; upon accidentally clicking on an ad for a gun, he freaks out and fervently repents. Despite this, he is extremely willing to follow Kris' commands, even to the point of fighting enemies on command without question.

Ralsei's name is an anagram of Asriel.
