Taskmaster is a British comedy game show where the titular Taskmaster (Greg Davies ) alongside his assistant (showrunner Alex Horne ) take five contestants - almost universally comedians or comic actors - and set them to do various tasks, each of which seems straightfoward and unusual but are anything but. The contestants are ranked based on their performance on the task and/or for another, usually tangential, aspect of the task.
