Painted belly describes when a character has their belly (or more generally, their abdomen) partially or entirely covered in paint. In most cases a character whose belly is painted will be chubby/overweight with a fat midsection, be pregnant, or have a bloated, protruding belly (from inflation, stuffing, vore etc.). Patterns such as skulls, directional arrows, hearts, and especially Easter eggs and Jack-O'-Lanterns are commonly painted on character's bellies.

Note: While not all writing on belly posts have painted words, if the text on a character's belly is clearly dripping paint, or being applied with a paint brush, the post should be tagged as both painted_belly and writing_on_belly
