Destiny Is a semi-MMO FPS RPG game developed and published by Bungie et al.. It's initial release was on September 9, 2014 for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game's sequel, Destiny 2 was released on September 6, 2017.
The game has been nominated for many awards and in 2014 won the "Most Anticipated Shooter Game" by IGN readers.

Destiny is presented through the first-person perspective, with players able to navigate a large semi-open world structure spread out across multiple celestial bodies within our local Solar System. The premise is the classical Light vs Darkness struggle in a distant future 28th century post-apocalyptic setting. The Traveler hovers above the last remaining city as a gargantuan orb, whose presence grants the Guardians of the City the ability to wield the Light. In Destiny 2 the Traveler and the Light it brings is under threat from aliens it has abandoned in the past and the Darkness of Ghaul's Cabal, the story of Destiny focuses on investigating alien species and eliminating any hostiles.
