John Ottiver is the fursona of comedian, journalist, and host of the Last Week Tonight: John Oliver. He first appeared on May 29th, 2022 in a Web Exclusive video on YouTube on Rocks, during a segment in which John Oliver explains the harmless nature of the Furries.

The character superficially resembles the comedian with Oliver's light gray hair and style, glasses, a collar, and a necktie. However, he is also extremely muscular wears baby blue, buttonless jean shorts, has a large and noticeably pronounced bulge, and is of course an anthropomorphic river otter with tan and brown fur.
