Head in mouth describes one of two scenarios:

A character with their head partially or wholly in the mouth of another - this can involve their head stuck into the mouth face-first, their snout stuck into another character's jaws, or their head being bitten down on from above.

These poses are often portrayed with a comedic or cute context. It can also be a form of extreme french kiss, licking, or other mouth play, a character may simply have their jaws wrapped around their partner while having sex. This pose can also indicate imminent vore with additional context, but doesn't inherently indicate vore by itself.

Head in mouth can also describe an explicitly oral vore scenario, where a character's body is mostly or entirely within the predator's throat, leaving their head still in the mouth. In some cases, the character is technically completely within the throat, but their head is visible at the back of the mouth, being framed by entrance to the throat.

Not to be confused with

• head_first - Only the head should be occupying the mouth. If more than the head is inside for a partial insertion scenario, use this tag instead.
• head_insertion - The tag for orifices other than the mouth.
