inverted pentacle

Upside-down pentacle. Used in various types of witchcraft and hermetic magic, but most commonly associated with Satanism, where it is meant to represents the head of a goat: the two upward-facing points resemble horns, sideway-facing points ears, and the downward-facing point a muzzle.

If the symbol is painted on floor (see magic circle), it is usually impossible to tell which way it is facing. Default to pentacle in such cases.
