Curled is an ambiguous term. Please use a more specific tag to describe what is being curled.

A curled anatomical structure or object is curved to form a U-shape. The curve is near or greater than 180°. A curve that is greater than 180° may form a spiral shape and have its own tag. If it is less than 180°, the curved tag prefix may be more appropriate.

Not to be confused with

• coiling - Wrapping tails or tentacles around characters.
• curling - A sport played with stones.

• curved - A surface with a slight, to moderately curved shape.
• wavy - A surface with multiple curves that resemble waves.
• curled - A surface with a sharply curving shape that is near or greater than 180°.
• spiral - A curled surface that has curved inwards to form the shape of a spiral.
