This tag is used when a small portion of a penis "peeks" out from its sheath, cloaca or genital slit. Preferably only the tip of it (henceforth, a penis tip) peeks out, but this tag broadly describes situations where a significant portion of the penis (at least half of its conceivable length) remains hidden internally. This tag contrasts with fully sheathed, cloaca -penis and genital_slit -penis.

Often penis tip features an animal penis to imitate real animal anatomy, but a humanoid penis peeking out from a sheath, cloaca or genital slit also applies. The penis tip may peek out unintentionally in a natural resting state as a sign of arousal or for urination.

Not to be confused with:

• glans - An anatomical feature at the tip of a humanoid_penis.
• partially_retracted_foreskin - When the glans are partially covered by the foreskin of an uncut penis.
• peeking - Tentatively, peeking should be reserved for specific acts of looking (forum #254284).
• peeping - When one character is secretly watching another.
• penis_base - When only the inner portion of the penis (i.e., its base) is visible in spite of clothing intended to cover it.
• poking_out - When the penis is poking outside of the clothing intended to cover it.
• retracted_foreskin - When the glans are fully uncovered by the foreskin of an uncut penis.
• shallow_penetration - When most of a penis's conceivable length is outside the orifice it is currently penetrating.
