blackface
Blackface is a form of theatrical make-up used predominantly by non-black performers to represent a caricature of a black person.
It is considered a racially insensitive representation of blackness by the African American community.

Not to be confused with black_face where a character has a black marking that encompasses their face, like some sheep or darker siamese/color-point cats.
