Tim Goodman is a main character of the Pokémon spin-off game Detective Pikachu and its live-action film adaptation Pokémon Detective Pikachu. He is an 18 or 21 year old (depending on the work) human who arrives in Ryme City to search for his father Harry. In both works, he meets the titular Detective Pikachu. Tim can actually understand what the Pikachu says, even though no other human being can understand the Pokémon's speech.

The character's race differs between works; the game version of the character is Caucasian, while the film version is played by actor Justice Smith, who is African American.
