    The codex is outdated; Guilliman himself said so (the guy who wrote it); it was originally written for the aftermath of the herresy (about 10,000 years ago) and upon Guillimans revival he stated that these are different times and the codex will need to be re-written; he is also friendly towards the Aeldari and would probably be okay with this as long as there is no trace of Chaos and it doesn't impact your duty
