I am still fairly new here, and would like some help.
Is it possible to remove social media links from your wiki page? Some outdated links are connected to my account here and I’d prefer people didn’t see that since I’m limiting what I upload here. I would specifically like my old Kofi link removed since that account is not being used anymore.

Any advice/ help is appreciated.

I believe you can cross them out. Same as your username, I'll assume.

https://e621.net/artists/35385 I put in a note that the old account is defunct. You can edit this yourself when you want to add a different link for support. Good luck! ;)

You could also delete it if you're 100% sure you're not using it.

This can make it hard to match up old and new data when trying to replace the old information...

They shouldn't be deleted really ever. Even if the link doesn't work anymore, it should be crossed out by prefixing it with a -, so it's still visible for archival reasons. If there's a reason you want to remove a link, for instance to keep SFW and NSFW artist names separate, it's best to contact an admin, who can also make sure artist tags aren't aliased together along with other things.

Yknow, I don't get it, why can't you just delete things without them being stuck here? I changed my name and now it's just stuck there as 'other names' like...cmon man, what's the point if you're going to force me to keep the title anyway?

Only you and admins can see your previous name(s).
