I am now 2½ years into a one-sided rivalry with a serial ban evader/tagging abuser. as of today I believe it's the fifth time a report I made has been responsible for getting this one dude's accounts perm banned.

probably dosn't even kind of suspect that just one random non-staff user has dedicated to track every one of their accounts and see it banned. it's not IP tracking, or fingerprinting, or any fancy voodoo magic, it's just dedication, long-term stakeouts, and good ol' boots fins-on-the-ground detective work, that's been responsible for catching every single one of these accounts.
