The 2009 animated television show created by Adam Reed and aired on the FX Network.

Synopsis

The show follows the adventures (and misadventures) of Sterling Malory Archer (H. Jon Benjamin) and the motley crew of his Mother's privatized spy agency. While Archer is recognized for his talent in many regards he is more well known for his many flaws including alcoholism, womanizing, and lackadaisical attitude.

Cast

Sterling Malory Archer - Code named "Duchess" (after his mother's dog). Exhibits skill in a variety of espionage related fields (hand-to-hand combat, firearms, driving, etc.) but is more known for his ego and self-involved nature. Archer is also a notorious lech, borderline alcoholic, and harbors a fear of wooden paddles. Voiced by H. Jon Benjamin

Lana Anthony Kane - Archer's former girlfriend recruited by his Mother out of university. Lana is a strong african american female who is often ostracized for her "manly" hands (or "monster" hands). She is far more capable than Archer but finds herself relegated to a supporting role due to Archer's Mother being the head of the agency. Voiced by Aisha Tyler

Malory Archer - Sterling's mother and head of the agency he "spies" for. She shares many common traits with Sterling including a penchant for alcoholism, egotistical behavior, and a self-involved lifestyle. having been a field agent herself Malory is somewhat competent in knowing what is required to complete tasks, though many view her methods as "antiquated". Voiced by Jessica Walter

Cyril Figgis - Comptroller for the agency (basically a mid level managing accountant) and also a former lover of Lana Kane. Cyril was activated as a field agent (with generally disastrous results) and has been struggling with an issue of "sex addiction". Voiced by Chris Parnell

Pamela "Pam" Poovey - The Human Resources director at the agency and general office gossip. Pam is often teased about her weight (though she lost much of it during Season 5 thanks to a cocaine addiction, but gained it back in Season 6) and her hedonistic lifestyle. She is openly flirtatious and sexually aggressive towards co-workers and strangers of either gender. Pam was activated as a field agent after scoring remarkably well on her field agent testing (particularly in the unarmed combat portion). Voice by Amber Nash

Cheryl "Carol" Tunt - Malory's scatter-brained secretary. In Season 1 Sterling was unable to properly remember her name and after a brief stint of name changing she settled upon the name Cheryl (though her real name is Carol). Cheryl is the heiress of a family fortune and is characterized by her penchant for pyromania, glue sniffing/eating, and sadomasochism. Voiced by Judy Greer

"Doctor" Algernop Krieger - Krieger himself has been known to voice his doubts about his own title as a "Doctor" on several occasions. Krieger serves as the head of R&D for the agency and despite his ability his inventions and research are generally of a less than useful nature. It is widely believed in the office that Krieger is in fact a DNA clone of Adolph Hitler. Krieger has a holographic computerized anime former fiance that he "invented" and a taste for tentacle hentai. Voiced by Lucky Yates

Raymond Q. "Ray" Gillette - The openly homosexual field agent who, despite also being highly skilled, is marginalized by Malory in favor of her son Sterling. Ray was a former Olympian who earned a Bronze in the Giant Slalom event and is an ordained minister. Ray faked a paralysis during Season 3 that actually became real paralysis at the end of the season. In Season 4 Krieger gave him Bionic Legs and subsequently he has gone through various trails and tribulations with them (malfunctions and other deliberate sabotage). Voiced by Adam Reed

Woodhouse - Sterling's live in butler and general "slave". A British valet who served in World War I and has an addiction to heroin. Woodhouse is the ever suffering target of numerous abuses of Sterling who has raised from infancy. He met Malory when she gave birth to Sterling in his bar. He came to work for Malory immediately afterwards. Voiced by George Coe and Tom Kane in Archer Vice after George Coe's passing.
