A wastebasket taxon for old-world members of the family bovidae that aren't cattle, sheep, buffalo, bison, or goats and are mostly comprised by other subfamilies. Some members of bovinae are also included as those members are commonly referred to as antelope-like (tribe tragelaphini, genus tragelaphus). Naturally this is an informal group and will be treated as such.
