A stripper is an erotic entertainer who performs a dance routine that involves the removal of their clothing.
Stripping routines frequently involve pole dancing, and sometimes twerking, as well as other suggestive moves; while uncommon, a stripping routine can borrow elements from, or cross over with, belly dancing. A stripper may be hired individually as entertainment, or perform at a strip club. At a strip club, patrons often throw tips on stage during the stripper's routine, who may put the money into a garter or the waistband of a thong.
