The M60 is an American-made light machine gun first used during the Vietnam war. It is usually a crew-serve or vehicle-mounted weapon. It has a very distinctive profile, so it is not very difficult to identify.
Not to be confused with the M60 Patton, an American tank that saw concurrent use.
