Humongous, Inc. (formerly Humongous Entertainment, Inc.) was an American video game developer based in Bothell, Washington. It was founded by Ron Gilbert and Shelley Day in 1992 and operated until 2013. They were known for their family-friendly point-and-click adventure games, particularly the Junior Adventures series Putt-Putt, Freddi Fish, Pajama Sam, and Spy Fox, and their sports game series Backyard Sports.

The company was acquired by GT Interactive (later Infogrames, Inc. and today Atari, Inc.) in 1996. In 2005, Atari, Inc. laid off most of the development team as a cost-cutting measure and divested Humongous Entertainment, which Atari, Inc. renamed to just Humongous, Inc., to its parent company Infogrames Entertainment (today Atari SA), who decided to have Humongous focus solely on Backyard Sports. In 2013, due to then-ongoing financial struggles in Atari SA, Humongous, Inc. and the other American operations of Atari SA filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and its assets were sold off. Backyard Sports were sold to a private equity group, MoonBase Commander was sold to British developer Rebellion Developments, and the remaining assets (including the Humongous brand) to American publisher Tommo. Today, Humongous Entertainment exists solely as a brand by Tommo for re-releases of their previous games except the aforementioned Backyard Sports, now owned by a dedicated company and published by Playground Productions, and MoonBase Commander.
