Zile (Zail in the WildCritters fan-translation) is a side character in the visual novel Tail Tale. He is a tall feline with brown fur, blue eyes, a diagonal scar on his forehead, and a fluffy tail.

Zail is a childhood friend of the game's player character, Lick Zack (Rick Zack in the WildCritters translation). He is a few years older than Rick, and treats him like a little brother.

Zail comes from a wealthy family, but despite this, treats those poorer than him with kindness. Prior to the events of the game, he went to an academy in a neighboring town of Midel, where he studied to join the Holy Order, a religious organization that governs the floating isles that Tail Tale takes place on.
