Character: puck (mascot)
Puck was the mascot of late 19th century to early 20th century humor magazine Puck. He was a young male human, mostly nude except for an overcoat, hat, a satchel strapped to his body, and something that conveniently censored his groin. Puck was inspired by the faerie trickster Robin Goodfellow, who is best known as the character Puck from William Shakespeare's play A Midsummer Night's Dream.
