Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade is a tactical RPG developed by Intelligent Systems and released on the GameBoy Advance in 2002. It is the 6th entry in the Fire Emblem series and the first to be developed without series creator Shouzou Kaga. The game takes place in a new continuity on the continent of Elibe, which is thrust into war by the militaristic King Zephiel. He is opposed by Roy, an adolescent who is forced into a commanding role by his father's failing health.

Notable features:

• The formal introduction of the "support" system, where characters gain statistical bonuses by getting to know one another in optional scenes. For some characters, this results in a romantic pairing the epilogue.
• Idunn, a manakete who was forced to become a mindless sex slave to repopulate her species after a genocide. You can fix her.
• Fae, a new loli dragon.
