The Wild Robot is a 2024 American computer-animated science fiction survival film directed by Chris Sanders, produced by DreamWorks Animation, and distributed by Universal Pictures. It is based on the 2016 novel of the same name by Peter Brown. The film was released on September 27, 2024 in the United States.
Synopsis:
Roz, a robot stranded on a remote island, learns to survive by befriending the island's animals. She adopts Brightbill, an orphaned gosling, and forms an uneasy friendship with Fink, a mischievous fox. As Roz becomes part of the island community, their peaceful life is disrupted when robots come to take Roz back, forcing her to protect her new home and the bonds she's formed.
