broken armor
Armor that has suffered significant damage to the point of impracticality. Things such as large or several holes, missing pieces, melted plating, exposed internal machinery and electronics (if it's power_armor), and exposed body parts are common signs of a broken armor.
Other times these are used as props for a scene to depict a battleground littered with fallen warriors.
