Thwackey (Japanese: バチンキー Bachinkey) is a Grass-type Pokémon introduced in Generation VIII.

This Pokémon evolves from Grookey starting at level 16 and evolves into Rillaboom starting at level 35.

Thwackey looks like a humanoid monkey. Light green is its body color.
The markings around its large yellow eyes and torso are paler; its ears, arms and tail are dark brown.
It also has dark green stripes around its wrists...

On top of this Pokémon's head are two sticks that support a tuft of leaves that looks like a bun. When this Pokémon removes its sticks from this tuft, large dark-green leaves fan out.

Thwackey can use its two sticks to create music. The faster a rhythm it creates, the more respect it earns from its peers.
