Ratau is a supporting/tutorial character in the Indie Rogue-Like/Resource Management game Cult of the Lamb.

Ratau is a brown rat that is missing his left eye and a section of his left ear. He wears a green jacket, red plaid scarf, and a paper hat with a triangle symbol that has a line horizontally through the middle. This same symbol appears on his forehead. He carries a stick staff that has two leaves growing out of it and has been bandaged a few times.

At the start of the game, Ratau is sent by The One Who Waits to rescue The Lamb and lead them to the ruins of his old Temple. After teaching the Lamb the basics of building and running a Cult, he retires to his home at the Lonely Shack where he will spend his days playing Knucklebones with his friends Flinky, Shrumy, Klunko, and Bop.

It is revealed that Ratau used to be the wearer of The Red Crown, but was relieved of duty due to his failure to slay the 4 Bishops of the Old Faith and his refusal to sacrifice followers for power.

Ratau has an older brother named Ratoo.
