Spring horse is a playground ride, which aims to mimic riding a horse in a similar fashion as rocking horse. Unlike rocking horse, the spring horse is fixed to a ground, most typically by a spring that is strong enough to support the weight of a character, but allows for rocking motion. Other rocking mechanisms are also possible, and the ride may resemble something else too than a horse.
