it is a draconic, semi-mammalian species from VixenDra's fantasy (WIP) story 'Draffectill', in which they're called 'Dragons' most of the time as they're the only kind of dragon existing in that universe.

Dracoire are considered a superior species to all sapient ones, including human. They're capable of magic use, abstract thinking and of a very strong kind of love called Draffection, which allows one partner for a lifetime. Draffectionates unify via connecting each other in 3 levels: physical, mental and spiritual, forming an absolute bond. They're naturally bisexual and strictly monogamous. Body of each Dracoire has a special immune system which doesn't allow to mate with any other individual than the only mate, which they never had any desire to do anyway.
A female can reproduce not sooner than after reaching the age of 1000, and each couple can have up to 6 offspring in a lifetime. The second ovulation occurs 500 years after the first impregnation.
Dracoire are eternal but not immortal(can be killed), currently they are on the edge of extinction.
