Feline creatures from A. E. van Vogt's science fiction story "Black Destroyer", typically reminiscent of panthers and other large cats, with exaggerated tentacle-like growths.
Commonly featured in Final Fantasy, but coeurls were also a basis for the six-legged displacer beast seen in Dungeons & Dragons.
