vowelless sound effect

Use for sound effects that don't contain a single vowel. This is very common for non-onomatopoeic sound effects. This is the counterpart tag to vowelless vocalization.

Common usages

- Prolonged noises (especially water related)
- Farting, and other bodily noises
- Humming / buzzing sounds ("Vrr", "Brr", "Bzzt")
- Shortened sound effects ("Glk", "Grk", "Splsh", "Sqk")
- Sleeping ("Zzz")

  • psssh - Sometimes "Psss", "Sss", or "Fshhh"
