A navel outline is a imprint or impression of a navel covered by (usually tight, and/or thin) clothing. It can be represented by a subtle shaded impression, hatched lines, a bump (in case of an outie navel), or drawing of the navel as if it were uncovered. Some clothing where navel outlines are most commonly shown are tight dresses, leotards, bodysuits or one-piece swimsuits.
