Sweatpants are soft, traditionally baggy, loose fitting pants worn casually and as athletic wear. They are are typically held up by an elastic waistband which may have an adjustable drawstring. Sweatpants may sometimes come with a matching sweatshirt/sweat jacket.

Not to be confused with:

• Yoga Pants - form fitting, thinner material
• Track Pants - usually made from lightweight materials like nylon or polyester
