Therdéorys (formerly known as cerdeorhys) is a Mexican furry artist from Cuernavaca, Morelos. Mostly known for his gay incestuous illustrations and fan art, as well as his original comic characters, Gonzo and Hernán.

Biography

Born in 1998 in Cuernavaca, Morelos (Mexico); Therdéorys has been drawing since 2011, though few of his artworks from before 2017 have been publicly disclosed, like a fanart drawing from 2015 featuring Skipper and Rico. He has been officially and actively present in the furry community since 2017.

Works and Projects

Therdéorys' content predominantly features anthropomorphic drawings, characterized by an aliasing art style. Besides of illustrations, he has produced few animatics and has stated a desire to become an animator in the future.

Until Then (2021)

• Debuted on 2021, October 9, this two panel comic was intended to tell the origin story of Gonzo & Hernán, specifically how they established their incestuous relationship. However, after a long hiatus, the comic was eventually canceled months after the last posted page on 2022, July 6. Therdéorys cited his inexperience with comic drawing and the story's potential for a more suitable format as reasons for the cancellation, indicating his intention to develop the narrative in a different, more enjoyable medium.

Gonzo&Hernán's Intermission Comic Strips (2022)

• A smaller slice of life, two panelled as well, draft sketch comic launched simultaneously with Until Then on 2022, January 16, which remains active. Originally made for readers to not lose interest in the main comic because of its long hiatus, it eventually became the main way to know Gonzo & Hernán's story and development. It follows both ravens' random life stories, which aren't in chronological order.

Secretos (2025)

• On 2025, January 23, Therdéorys premiered his first long animatic, a 3 minutes long music animated video titled "Secretos" featuring the homonymous song by Colombian singer Esteman. This new project was created to release a significant part of Gonzo & Hernán's story to his audience after a long time since Until Then's cancellation.

Therdéorys has also expressed interest in developing new slice-of-life stories upon the completion of the main Gonzo & Hernán project. These include concepts about nomadic nudist orcs, a reinterpretation of the business relationship between Saint Claus and an exhibitionistic Krampus within a Christmas office environment in a CMNM setting, and a backrooms themed project.

Characters

Therdéorys' owes his recognition mainly to two of his characters:

• Hernán Ýñiguez Ybargüengoitia: (Born in 1972) is an anthropomorphic raven. As per the main storyline set in 2016, he is a 44-year-old single father who lives and works with his son, Gonzo, in shoe-making. He is typically depicted wearing a navy blue dress shirt and brown pants, has a scar on his beak, and maintains a short haircut. He's a fan of boxing and martial arts, but was unable to pursue his dreams. He is divorced and gained custody of Gonzo after the latter's mother abandoned them both.

• Martín Gonzalo "Gonzo" Ýñiguez Xaramillo: (Born in 1998) is an 18-year-old (as per 2016's storyline) who lives and works with his father, Hernán. He's in love with his father and eventually becomes his boyfriend. His characteristic outfit includes a white yellowish T-shirt with cyan pants, and his haircut is similar to a Mohawk. Despite his aspirations in singing and attending university, economic difficulties within the father-son household keep him working along with his father.

However, other minor OCs relevant enough to mention are Quauh and Sierpe who were part of an early project which Therdéorys envisioned as a way to create "porn about funny history and geography gags in the world" (similar to Polandball or Hetalia). The concept was discarded after 2020, February 5, when Gonzo & Hernán's first illustration was released and Therdéorys decided to focus mainly on them.

Fursona

Therdéorys fursona has evolved over time ranging from foxes, badgers, avians and other discarted concepts, however his most relevant ones are two: a penguin/puffin duo and a t-rex.

• Penguin / Puffin: Since 2014, he initially used a double fursona consisting of a penguin and a puffin. These two characters could also fuse into a hybrid penguin-puffin form. Therdéorys keeps using them in non-furry SFW contexts.

• Tyrannosaurus Rex: In November 2019, Therdéorys transitioned to a purple dinosaur as his fursona. This change was originally intended to be temporary during 2019's "Dinovember" but became permanent after 2020. This fursona was initially designed with the ability to split into two smaller velociraptors like his previous fursona (eventually just two smaller t-rexes), however nowadays that's an unusual sight in his drawings. The purple dinosaur is frequently depicted wearing a bicolored T-shirt, with the left side red and the right side cyan blue. On 2023, August 1, a redesign was introduced, portraying the dinosaur now as an openly nudist/enhibitionist character with only brown boots and gloves/gauntlets, a thick black belt with small bags as pockets, and a bicolored tilmàtli (a cloak-like garment) that maintains the color scheme of the original T-shirt. This alternative design currently serves as the main representation of his fursona, keeping the previous design only within furry SFW contexts.

Therdeorys' fursona name is relatively unclear but it's known it might either be Greg, Grzegorz, Morado, or Ýscar; however the latter might be a special in-universe comic name rather than his official name.
