Nano describes characters that are extremely small, smaller than even an average micro character, their height is best measured by micrometres (they should not exceed 1-2 mm tall), and usually at even smaller units of size. At 1-2 mm tall, a character would be about a thousandth the height of a human, making them about a billionth the mass, fitting with the metric prefix "nano". Nano characters size can be directly compared to small bugs, or microscopic organisms such as tardigrades depending on the size of the character involved.
Do not use this tag if there are nothing within the frame suggesting the scale of the creature in question. Common traits of nano posts include the nano characters being too small for macro characters to notice, having to navigate forests of carpet or the "terrain" of normal sized characters' bodies (such as ridges or wrinkles in their skin, a pawscape, a "forest" of fur, hair, feathers, etc), being smaller than drops of water etc.
Nano is the inverse of giga, in the same way that micro is the inverse of macro.
