
Species: java sparrow
The Java sparrow (Lonchura oryzivora), also known as Java finch, Java rice sparrow or Java rice bird is a small passerine bird of the family Estrildidae. It is not a true sparrow, or a true finch. This species had grey upperparts, including the wings, and back. The chest is grey, and the belly is pink. It features a white-cheeked black head, red eye-ring, pink feet and thick red beak.
