
Species: araripe manakin
The araripe manakin (Antilophia bokermanni) is a critically endangered species of bird in the family Papridae. This species features long tail feathers, and has distinct differences between males and females. Males feature a predominantly white plumage and a red crown. Wings features black feathers like the tail, except for the white wing coverts. The females are mainly olive green and have pale green upperparts. It may be hard to distinguish females from other manakin species.
